Qualifications

• Active PHRN license (required)
• Active AHIMA or AAPC coding certification (required)
• Minimum of 2 years experience preferably in Outpatient Facility Coding, specifically Surgery (SDS) and/or Hydration, Infusion, and Injection
• Hands-on experience using EPIC
• Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes
• Willing to work onsite in Taguig

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records, physician notes, and other clinical documentation to identify billable services and ensure accurate code assignment (CPT, ICD, HCPCS)
• Review physician documentation and assign correct procedure charges, including appropriate CPT codes and modifiers
• Identify, investigate, and resolve documentation discrepancies, missing charges, and charge entry errors
• Ensure full compliance with client-specific guidelines, Coding Clinics, HIPAA, and GRIC requirements
• Consistently meet daily productivity and quality targets, incorporating feedback from the QA team
• Stay up to date with coding updates and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through continuous education and feedback sessions
