The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the company’s overall financial operations. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and company policies while assisting in financial reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for management
• Monitor budgets and track expenditures
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and documentation
• Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information
