We are hiring a senior professional to take charge of our sales strategy, private banking relationships, partner cultivation and business development activities in the Philippines. This role requires a strategic thinker, a relationship builder and a confident communicator who can independently lead market expansion and represent the J. Rotbart & Co. brand at the highest professional standard. The ideal candidate brings experience interacting with wealthy private clients, strong connections within private banking or luxury markets and a proven track record in relationship-driven sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic market expansion & leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s strategy in the Philippines market.
- Identify priority opportunities among private banks, wealth managers, family offices and strategic partners.
- Lead initiatives that expand J. Rotbart & Co.’s footprint, revenue streams and client reach.
- Act as the senior representative of the company in the Philippines, driving high-level conversations and partnerships.
2. Relationship management
- Build, maintain and grow relationships with banks professionals - RMs, Wealth Advisors and department heads.
- Oversee and support relationship managers across partner banks, ensuring they have the training, tools and motivation to introduce clients to our company.
- Conduct advanced training and educational sessions for RMs and bankers.
- Serve as the contact point for complex or high-value client inquiries.
3. Business development and new partnerships
- Lead the identification and cultivation of new institutional and private-client referral channels.
- Represent the company at major networking events, conferences, private bank gatherings, various chambers of commerce’ and industry forums.
- Build high-level networks that result in sustainable and long-term partnerships.
- Drive consistent and high-quality deal flow.
4. High-Net-Worth Client Acquisition & Support
- Support onboarding of clients accounts referred by partners or acquired independently.
- Guide clients through the process from the first engagement to completed transactions.
- Oversee operational coordination between the client, partners and J. Rotbart & Co.’s global operations team.
- Ensure elite-level client service resulting in repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals.
5. Brand building and market education
- Act as the senior “ambassador” of J. Rotbart & Co. in the Philippines.
- Deliver presentations, lead discussions and represent the firm in high-profile settings.
- Provide market insights to clients and partners on precious metals, diversification strategies and global trends on a regular basis.
- Identify opportunities for strategic marketing collaborations and speaking engagements.
6. Reporting, strategy alignment and team coordination
- Provide senior management with clear, insight-driven updates on market activity, partnership opportunities and revenue pipeline developments.
- Deliver periodic analyses on PH client behavior, bankers performance and competitor landscape to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee and support team members, providing mentorship, guidance and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, compliance, marketing and regional offices to ensure seamless execution of client onboardings, transactions and partnership initiatives.
- Potentially mentor and/or supervise junior team members as the Manila office grows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years in relationship management, private banking, wealth management, investment advisory, luxury relationship-driven sales or similar industries.
- Proven success managing HNWIs and senior banking relationships.
- Strong familiarity with high-level client servicing standards
- Proven track record in strategic business development, market expansion or leading commercial initiatives.
- Strong network within the Philippine financial services, private banking or luxury ecosystem
- Experience managing and mentoring team members, with the ability to guide staff and contribute to building high-performing teams.
- Background in roles requiring significant autonomy, strategic planning and responsibility for revenue or partnership outcomes.
